Back in 2011, Sam and Daymon Rogers noticed a gap in the market for premium custom-made indoor and outdoor seat cushions, made in Australia for Australian conditions. This inspired them to create an online portal that allowed customers across Australia to add the finishing touches to their homes with stunning custom-made cushions designed to their exact specifications. Customers simply had to measure, select a fabric, piping, foam, and add to cart. And so, Cushion Factory was born!
Today, Cushion Factory employs over 15 specialist designers, cutters, and craftspeople, including 4 cushion experts who run Cushion Studios in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. Hi, I’m Sam, co-founder of Cushion Factory. I manage our sales, admin, and marketing teams. I love creating social media content, but I’m really a spreadsheet enthusiast!
I’m Daymon, the head of Production. As a co-founder, I’ve done it all, from cutting fabric to delivering outdoor seat cushions. I ensure every cushion is perfect and on budget. I enjoy tackling challenging projects and watching the Dockers during footy season.

Hi, I’m Carolyn. I love living in Queensland where we get to enjoy our outdoor areas all year round. My roles have always involved working with clients to achieve the best outcome. I enjoy interacting with customers in the Studio, understanding their needs, and providing fabric and design options to help create the individual style they are after. When I’m not in the Studio you’ll usually find me out keeping fit or relaxing at the beach!

I like being in the background as support to our Cushion Consultants. I love that I have to think on my feet every day, and resolve any issue that may come up. I also take care of the company accounts and payroll. I love a good laugh but love bringing the team together to work towards a common goal.

Rob is our steady voice in the factory but he definitely keeps you on your toes with his dry sense of humour. Rob is responsible for operating Sven our automatic Fabric Cutting Machine and ensure the correct fabric is cut to the exact specifications. Rob is a keen gardener in his spare time and plays darts professionally.

Fabric Cutter, Foam Cutter and Cushion Stuffer – Perth
Kyle has been part of our team for a number of years on a casual basis and he always fits right in where he left off. Such a hard working person who keeps an eye on the detail to ensure his work is constantly of a high standard. In his spare time, Kyle spends time on his new hobby which is photography.

Once your cushion fabric is cut out, it is then sent to one of these wonderful ladies who work their magic and bring your cushions to life.
